Karl Kopinski (UK, 1971)

Good drawing requires zero explanation. No chat whatsoever is needed when someone draws as well as Kopinski. I think this is one of the reasons why there’s just so much endless waffle in art college and its products. As Kopinski explains in this interview he drew obsessively as a child and imagined how much he would learn when he would eventually go to art college, but then how “incomprehensibly disappointed” he was with his experience there. Sounds familiar somehow. Hmmm…..
