Happy new year 2018! (Upcoming workshop info)

We have some workshops starting soon at Schoolhouse for Art, Enniskerry. First off, I'll be starting teaching teaching the Cour de Dessin, commonly known as Bargue drawing. Bargue drawing is now a staple in the current atelier movement and with good reason. I found it invaluable in learning good design, training the eye and also drawing technique. My last Bargue drawing got an award at the Florence Academy of Art, Sweden, so it's something I have experience with. We have 2 separate courses planned; a Bargue drawing evening course as well as one in the morning. Both are on Mondays running over 8 weeks, each totalling 24 hours instruction and practice. The dates are January 15th, 22nd, 29th, February 5th, 12th, 19th and March 5th & 12th.  The morning course runs from 10am - 1pm and the evening runs from 6.30 - 9.30pm. Both are the same price, €260.

Secondly, there's a 2 day painting workshop in February. The dates are Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th February, 2018. We will be painting from the model in one pose over both days.   Times are 10:30am - 4:30pm and the cost is €150.00.

Lastly, there will be a morning oil painting the figure in oil workshop in BlockT, Fatima. 6 Thursdays starting 18 January 2018. Times are 10am – 1pm. We will be working from the model each week in one pose totalling 18 hours painting from life. Cost is €250.
