Proper nowadays artists - day 3: David Kassan

David Kassan (USA, 1977)

I was skeptical of David Kassan’s work until I saw a portrait he had in Unit Gallery’s Instagram Paintguide show in 2015. It was much more impressive in real life I felt. Then I was lucky enough to exhibit with him in Dublin in December last year.

I’m posting this portrait of Sam Goldofsky he did as part of his series on Holocaust survivors because he died last week unfortunately.
