Proper nowadays artists - day 58: Fuyuko Matsui 松井冬子
Fuyuko Matsui 松井冬子 (1974, Japan)
Japanese Kusozu paintings depict the gradual decay of a human carcass from the gaseous expiration of the maturating corpse to its eventual cremation. Matsui has painted in this form amongst as well as in other Japanese traditions. Her titles are really great too.
