Marc Simonetti (1977, France)
Simonetti did the concept art for Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, a lot of illustrations for George RR Martin’s books, Dune, Malazan (which I’m planning to start reading myself) and tons of other sci-fi and fantasy stuff. I can’t remember where I first saw his work myself but he’s basically impossible to avoid so could’ve been anywhere.
