Vincent Giarrano (USA, 1960)

I’ve never been to Soho, New York myself but you can tell the atmosphere from Giarrano’s streetscapes. He paints women in everyday moments in the cityscape there and also in intimate interiors. How refreshing to read that the role of the art isn’t about “redefining art or challenging it or being confrontational”.
